Briefly

Jeremy Jelliffe is a Research Agricultural Economist with the International Trade and Development Branch in the Market and Trade Economics Division at USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS). His work focuses on Europe’s agri-food production, consumption, trade, and related policies, as well as internationally focused research on agricultural productivity, the role of trade and services to agri-food value chains, and food security. Other areas of interest include international development, Sub-Saharan Africa, food safety, and the beverage, dairy, and hemp industries.

Education

Jeremy earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics, as well as a B.S. in Environmental Science and B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut.
