Jennifer Kee is a research agricultural economist of the Animal Products and Cost of Production Branch in the Market and Trade Economics Division at USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS).
Background
Jennifer joined ERS in 2022 and her current research focuses on market and trade economic issues associated with livestock, dairy, and poultry products. In her doctoral studies, she conducted research on behavioral and experimental economics, where she aimed to evaluate consumer demand and preferences for food products. Specifically, she explored the willingness to pay for organic food products, food preference differences between healthy and unhealthy food products, demand for specialty food products, and consumer preferences for food product attributes.
Education
Jennifer received her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, M.S. in Financial Economics, and B.S. in Economics, all from Texas A&M University.
