Food insufficiency has remained below the pandemic peak

The prevalence of food insufficiency—low and very low food sufficiency—peaked at 13.4 percent in December 2020, and has since declined. Food insufficiency was estimated at 12.2 percent as of July 10, 2023, and very low food sufficiency was estimated at 3.2 percent.
