Climate change projected to lead to an increase in herbaceous biomass in some regions, a decline in others, 2017–50

USDA, Economic Research Service researchers simulated how climate change would affect the amount of herbaceous biomass grown on global rangelands through 2050, finding a 4 percent decrease. The reduction’s effect on meat and milk production was expected to vary widely by region.
