Saied Toossi is a research economist with the Food Assistance Branch of the Food Economics Division in the USDA’s Economic Research Service. His research focuses on USDA’s child nutrition programs and examines trends in program participation and expenditures, the determinants of program participation, and the impact of these programs on children’s well-being.
