Briefly

Richard Nehring has worked on the productivity team in the Resource and Rural Economics Division since 1991. His responsibilities include the design and implementation of the fertilizer and pesticides research on agricultural productivity. He is a member of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.

Education

Richard received his Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in economics from Iowa State University, a B.S. in farm operations, and a B.A. in german from Iowa State University.
