Briefly

Adam Gerval is an economist with the Agricultural Policy and Models Branch in the Markets and Trade Economics Division. He analyzes macroeconomic trends in Asian markets, including East Asian nations such as Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, as well as emerging economies in Southeast Asia. He also conducts research on economic development issues related to agricultural affairs in sub-Saharan African nations.

Education

Adam received a M.S. in International Economics in 2019 from The George Washington University. He received a M.A. from The Ohio State University in Economics and International Affairs (2016) and a B.A. in History and Japanese from the University of Kansas (2013).
