As an Agricultural Economist, Kenneth Hanson’s research focused on the interactions of the Food Stamp Program (FSP) with the economy in general. One aspect of this research agenda was the development and use of a Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) database, Input-Output Multiplier (IOM) model, and Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model of the U.S. economy for food and farm policy analysis.
